Consumer data privacy is an issue that cannot be avoided and yet consumer data governance is one that is too often looked over. Data governance is particularly complex when sensitive data are involved, as is the case for personal health information. This session will examine the topic of how corporations can best govern a consumer’s ability to opt-in and opt-out. It will discuss use of the blockchain to aggregate consumer consent across different parts of a corporate enterprise.
