GDPR:  What is happening across EU and across Borders
This second session will remain focused on GDPR and will take into account rulings of the Court of Justice of the European Union and their impact on the free flow of personal data across borders. The latest updates will also be provided on Brexit and the influence of GDPR on the global privacy frameworks. Topics covered in this session will be:

Session C – 1:30pm – 2:45 pm
New Issues for 2020 and Beyond
Outside of GDPR, the EU is developing a new ePrivacy Regulation while the Council of Europe’s Convention 108 has been subject to its first comprehensive overhaul since 1981. Additionally data ethics and AI are now attracting the interest of regulators and legislators. Topics covered in this session will be:

Practical exercises
The intensive day will close with practical exercises based on a case study and covering two of the more important practical elements that organisations need to deal with as part of their GDPR obligations:
