This session considers recent developments in India and their significance for companies seeking to do business in this important market. The draft Data Protection Bill of 2018 introduces major changes in existing Indian privacy law while also building on recent caselaw in that country. This session will consider the Bill’s restrictions on international data flows as well as other issues.
