Exploration of privacy, competition, and regulatory issues arising from image and video (“multimedia”) inputs and outputs. Are there different concerns for video, image, and computer vision models? Can regulations around multimedia inputs help predict the future regulatory risks for connected cities and autonomous vehicles? What is the impact of authoritarian regimes willingness and desire to develop exactly the type of privacy-invasive AI systems we are concerned about here?
