Once thought of as a niche area of compliance for companies focused on children, the ever-growing list of expansive and complex laws and regulations, including amendments to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and new laws in Nebraska and Vermont, require all companies to reexamine their policies and practices related to children’s data.
