This panel will address the legal and practical challenges currently facing entities collecting and using neural data, reproductive health information, and other sensitive personal health information, including geolocation data in certain contexts. In addition to surveying recent developments in the health privacy law landscape, the panel will discuss the technologies (including AI) used to process this information, the policy goals behind rules requiring the interoperability of such technologies, and recent litigation over government access to sensitive personal health information.
