This panel brings together experts in privacy, cybersecurity, and national security law to discuss the Department of Justice’s new rule regulating the transfer of sensitive personal data to China and other “countries of concern.” The DOJ Rule went into effect on April 8, and the DOJ issued guidance on April 11. The panel will address critical compliance and liability issues for U.S. entities that utilize foreign advertisers or vendors, employ individuals in China or other countries of concerns, have Chinese or other foreign investors, or transfer personal data to China or other countries of concern.
