While organizations welcomed the updated Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the transfer impact assessments (TIAs) now required by Clause 14 of the SCCs further increase the documentation requirements under the GDPR.  During the past three months, organizations have struggled to  develop the best process to conduct and document TIAs. This panel of privacy experts will discuss the major developments on the TIA front, the best practices we have seen emerging in relation to the documentation of TIAs, and possible solutions to various challenges that organizations are facing in relation to EU based customers.
