About Mary Anne Franks

Dr. Mary Anne Franks is the Bernard Professor in Intellectual Property, Technology, and Civil Rights Law at George Washington Law School. Dr. Franks is also the President and Legislative & Tech Policy Director of the nonprofit organization Cyber Civil Rights Initiative and the drafter of the first U.S. model criminal statute on nonconsensual pornography. She is the author of Fearless Speech: Breaking Free from the First Amendment.
