Recent enforcement actions and statements by data protection authorities in the in the EU have highlighted the risks organizations face using third party cookies and trackers in their business, especially where personal data collected by the cookie or tracker is transferred internationally. The panelists will discuss the issue of data transfers and the challenges organizations, whether service users or service providers, face in seeking to rely on SCCs but be GDPR compliant post-Schrems II.
